C. R. Savage photograph collection 1860-ca. 1900

Primarily a collection of original Savage prints, covering all periods of his career. Of the 839 items, over 750 are clearly Savage photographs. The collection includes stereographs, carte-de-visites, cabinet, boudoir, bookplate prints, lantern slides, and various size prints mounted and/or framed. Landscapes of Salt Lake City and the West, with Utah and California predominating, include over 560 prints. Portraits, numbering over 220, include many LDS Church leaders.
